State Representative Rogers will greet the public in district 94 “hard to count” areas in the name of a Complete Count during Census 2010

LAUDERDALE LAKES – With the census form arriving in the mail, Census 2010 awareness efforts have been in full swing in district 94 “hard to count” areas.

In partnering with the Greater Caribbean American Cultural Coalition, city’s Officials, and Community leaders, Lauderhill Chamber, Margate Chamber, Plantation Chamber, Tamarac Chamber and Hispanic/ Puerto Rican Chamber; volunteers will be placed in front of supermarkets and restaurants greeting the public and handling out the “be counted” the census “3 easy steps” that include a list of 10 top reasons to complete out and return their census form by April 1st.

On Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 10am to 2pm members of chambers in the district, City staff, Community leaders and Youth groups will be at the following locations: Neighbors’ Supermarket – 6064 W. Sunrise Boulevard, Sunrise and Broward Meat – 8040 W. McNab Rd. in N. Lauderdale.
