St. Lucia’s Prime Minister to address the Island Nation on current economic status

ST. LUCIA – St. Lucia’s Prime Minister and Minister with responsibility for Finance, Honourable Stephenson King will update the nation on the current global economic threats and the challenges facing Saint Lucia.

The Tuesday evening address will highlight the potential impact of global negative growth on the economy of Saint Lucia and will enunciate the policy responses of the government.

Prime Minister King is expected to announce decreases in the price fuel and related products, as well as speak to the issue of the application by the Bakers’ Association for increases in the price of controlled bread.

The Prime Minister’s address will be aired on radio and television on Tuesday, November 25, at 8.00pm.
