St. Kitts and Nevis endorses Taiwan’s bid for two United Nations agencies
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS – St. Kitts and Nevis is among Taiwan’s Caribbean allies that have endorsed a bid for its participation in two specialized agencies of the United Nations.
Taiwan is pushing to be included in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the International Civil Aviation Organization.
The Taiwanese Central News Agency quotes officials as saying besides St. Kitts and Nevis that endorsed the signature drive were St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize and St. Lucia.
The allies that did not sign either of the documents included Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
