South Florida: Vintage Reggae Winter Fest to feature classic Reggae Stars

MIRAMAR – A galaxy of classic Reggae Stars will deliver sparkling performances at the inaugural presentation of the Vintage Reggae Winter Fest, scheduled for Sunday, February 19, 2012. Miramar Regional Park, located at 16801 Miramar Parkway in Miramar, Florida will be the home of this highly anticipated event, which is already creating an early buzz among reggae enthusiasts in South Florida.

The undisputed Queen of Reggae, Marcia Griffiths, is the lone female leading a list of seasoned performers which includes Freddie McGregor, Yellow Man, Leroy Sibbles, Charlie Chaplin, Professor Nuts and Little John. Each performer is a star in their own right with hits dominating the charts from the sixties to the nineties. Veterans such as McGregor and Griffiths have been able to maintain a string of hits through the years, keeping them current with today’s generation.
