South Florida Soca Warrior fans ready for World Cup qualifying match vs. Costa Rica; Area restaurants providing “live” coverage

TAMARAC – On Saturday June 6th the Trinidad’s Soca Warriors will take on Costa Rica for a World Cup qualifying match. Soca Warrior fans in South Florida can catch the game at two locations, Saran’s located at 7111 W. Commercial Blvd. in Tamarac or at De Pirates Bay Restaurant & Lounge located at 6455 West Commercial Blvd. in Tamarac with pre-game festivities starting at 5pm.

Saran’s is hoping the TNT Soca Warriors fans come out in their TNT colors and enjoy the game at it’s best on one of the 4 large screen TVs including one on an outdoor patio deck.

Drink Specials

There will be three open bars to choose from. During the game, all house drinks and beers will be only $2.00. Plus, free shots for every goal scored by the Soca Warriors. For every sports team of 11 or more there will be 1 free bottle of Johnnie Walker, however teams must register 1 day before. Ladies can drink free before the game (House Brand only).

The restaurant will be open for your dining pleasure.

Entertainment

What’s sport without some music and food. Saran’s will have a live calypso band, live Steelpan, live Rhythm and Tassa plus a live DJ spinning the latest tunes.

De Pirates Bay

De Pirates Bay is offering a free bottle of Johnnie Walker or Grey Goose to the group that brings the largest “posse”. Other drink specials include, $3 beers, $100 Bottles and $5 well mixed drinks.

There will be a pre-game warm up from 5pm featuring a Tassa & Rhythm section.
