South Florida: Multicultural Day event to celebrateTrinidad & Tobago’s 49th year of Independence

LAUDERHILL – The Caribbean National Cultural Association of South Florida will be hosting a celebration to honor Trinidad & Tobago’s 49th year of Independence and 35 years being a Republic with a Multicultural Day event on Sunday September 25, 2011 at the Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium (corner of State Road 7 and Sunrise Blvd.) from 3pm – 10:30pm.

The Multicultural Day will feature live entertainment from Dimenzion band with D’Rani Rasika, Crazy from TnT, USVI Moko Jumbie, Lauderhill Steel Ensemble, Indian and African drummers & dancers and live DJ music. In additional there will be arts & crafts and cultural display from all ethnic groups, a car show and activities for the entire family. Food & beverages will be on sale.

Admission will be $5 before 6pm and $10 after; children under 12 are free. The park fee is $1.50, for more information call: 954-972-9628.
