South Florida: Jamaica’s Minister of Youth & Culture, Hanna Looking for 50 Young Jamaicans for ‘Cultural Legacy’ brunch on July 6

FT. LAUDERDALE – Minister Lisa Hanna is looking for 50 Young Jamaican Leaders for ‘Leaving A Cultural Legacy’ brucheon Friday, July 6 at 10:30a

Minister Lisa Hanna is looking for 50 young dynamic Jamaican Leaders, ages 14- 28, to join her a at private complimentary bruncheon at Bethel Worship Center in North Lauderdale, FL  to discuss how young Jamaicans in the Diaspora can Leave A Cultural Legacy in the United States and in Jamaica.

Fifty young people will have the opportunity to share their projects with the Minister and discuss ideas on how to start and sustain initiatives which can impact the lives of youth while creating a sustainable cultural legacy. Youth in attendance will meet and have an intimate round table discussion with Minister Hanna, receive gifts from event sponsor Jamaica National Building Society  and be treated to a light brunch menu provided by Golden Krust North Lauderdale. Brucheon will take place from 10:30a – 12:00 p.m. at Bethel Worship Center, located at 6060 Kimberly Blvd. North Lauderdale, FL. 33068. 

This youth focused event is one of two events Minister Hanna is set to host on her official visit to South Florida. The minister will also host A Pre-Independence Dinner and Dance Gala Event in celebration of Jamaica’s 50th Anniversary. The Gala takes place on the evening of Friday, July 6 at 7:00p at The Grand Ballroom at Sunrise Civic Center, 10610 W. Oakland Park Blvd. in Sunrise.
