South Florida based Caribbean-American television talk-show expands to New York

Fort Lauderdale – The “Maxine Tulloch Show” is back with a new and fresh program this season, airing in 21 Caribbean Islands on CaribVision Network on Tuesdays at 9:00pm with several encores, and coming to New York, New Jersey and Connecticut soon.

“Quiet on the set, camera, lights, action,” echoes as make-up artist and stylist fall backstage behind marked territory. Music cues, five… four… three… two…. one. Maxine makes one final adjustment before announcing, “Welcome to the Maxine Tulloch Show.”

As Oprah Winfrey sets to bow out of the talk show genre, to focus on the development of her cable channel, OWN, more doors are opening for rising starts such as Maxine Tulloch. It has been four years since the Maxine Tulloch Show (MTS) made its debut on COMCAST Cable in South Florida; reaching over 1.2 million household subscribers.
Since March 2008 MTS has been the anchor talk show for FlowTV Channel 100 in Jamaica. (Sited from IslandFuse Magazine online)

“Maxine Tulloch Show” fall series premiers on CaribVision TV Network out of Barbados, airing in 21 Caribbean Islands on Tuesdays at 9:00pm with several encores, and coming to New York, New Jersey and Connecticut this fall. The new season of MTS, with a jazzier format and episodes filmed in front of a live audience, aims to bring audiences closer to the Caribbean. “Fun and excitement” Maxine says, is a criteria for the new season, “it’s all inclusive of and for the Diaspora.”

MTS is a unique and diverse television program, the only show of its kind in the USA and the Caribbean. The program delivers informative, entertaining, fast paced Caribbean-American lifestyle shows that educate and entertain the viewers while showcasing highlights of their culture and other cultures around the world.

Topics ranging from social and domestic issues, lifestyle, business, fashion, entertainment, to strategic thinking shows, and events are what they do best. What makes them different from other shows in their genre is their deliberate intention to create high quality exclusive production that is both informative, as it is entertaining.

Business associates, community members and fellow media partners affectionately call Maxine the South Florida Oprah, Jamaican Oprah and Caribbean Oprah. Conceptually it was modeled after the Oprah Winfrey Show without the live audience, with future plans for a live audience. However, Maxine continues to articulate that “if you can’t get on the Oprah Show, you can get on the Maxine Tulloch Show,” carving her niche and branding the program.

Be sure to tune in Tuesdays at 9:00 pm on CaribVision around the Caribbean Islands with past episodes on www.blip.tv/maxinetullochshow
