“Sounds of Little Haiti” keeps the music alive

MIAMI – “Sounds of Little Haiti” is excited to be bringing back the same feeling of happiness and joy that the ever popular Big Night Little Haiti events have brought to the residents and visitors of Little Haiti for the past five years.

The Rhythm Foundation did a spectacular job of bringing music back to the streets of Little Haiti and today as they take their final bow, the same culturally rich tradition will continue with the introduction of “Sounds of Little Haiti.”

Sounds of Little HaitiAs a free monthly event, “Sounds of Little Haiti”, will host a fun, family-friendly cultural activity every third Friday of the month at the esteemed Little Haiti Cultural Complex at 212-260 N.E. 59th Terrace Miami, Fl. 33137.

Etched in the same platform as what fans have grown to love within the Big Night Little Haiti initiative, “Sounds of Little Haiti” will continue to foster a great relationship with some of Haiti’s biggest bands and will bring the same caliber of entertainment plus some added enthusiasm.

Once a month from 6pm to 10pm, music fans will enjoy the thrill of live music, coupled with neighborhood art studios, restaurants, retail shops and venues that are all open to the public to allow them to discover the “Sounds of Little Haiti,” while enjoying the ambiance of Little Haiti.

Beginning on May 20, 2016 with Tabou Combo, “Sounds of Haiti” will also have Harmonik performing on June 17, 2016, as well as System Band on July 15, 2016.

Sponsorship and community support will continue to be needed but the sounds of Little Haiti that have resonated for years will not be muted, the volume has just been raised. For more detailed information call 786-592-0312.
