Marcus Garvey

Marcus Garvey was wrongfully convicted by a U.S. court of mail fraud, a conviction that stalled his movement for racial justice, social progress and economic independence for all peoples of the African Diaspora.

To redress this wrong, a request for a posthumous presidential pardon has been filed by the descendants of Marcus Garvey with the U.S. Department of Justice and the White House Counsel’s Office. This pardon request urges consideration of Garvey’s unjust arrest, trial and incarceration in 1923.

Dr. Claire Nelson, a Washington insider, spearheaded and succeeded in the establishment of Caribbean American Heritage Month.  She has a track record of success.

This Posthumous Presidential Pardon can happen before President Obama leaves office.

IF you share the link  https://wh.gov/iLvaQ  with everyone including those on your listserv, FaceBook, Linkedin, etc. the goal of 100,000 signatures can be reached.

Encourage them to sign. We need 100,000 in the next 30 days in order to get a response from the White House.

Please do it NOW!!    This is democracy—the voice of the people!

“UP you mighty race, you can accomplish what you will!”— Marcus Mosiah Garvey!
