FT. LAUDERDALE – American Airlines will inaugurate daily nonstop service between Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Kingston, Jamaica on June 1, 2008.

The flight will depart Ft. Lauderdale at 8:00am and will arrive in Kingston at 8:40am local time. Mr. C.P. Ricardo Allicock, Consul General of the Consulate General of Jamaica (Miami), will participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony at the departure gate prior to the boarding of the flight.

Local officials and members of the Jamaica Tourist Board will also be in attendance at the inaugural ceremony.
