Reggae’s Energy god, Elephant Man releases, DANCE & SWEEP! Adventures Of The Energy God

MIRAMAR – Dancehall’s top entertainer Elephant Man is back in action, delivering a slew of new hits on his latest studio effort, DANCE & SWEEP! Adventures Of The Energy God, set for release from VP Records on February 15, 2011.

The Grammy-nominated “Energy God” brings the fun back to music in classic Elephant Man style with this collection of 14 uptempo party hits (15 on digital version) that are bound to turn up the heat.

Elephant Man is the ultimate party starter whose moves on both the microphone and stage have deemed him an international icon. DANCE & SWEEP! Adventures Of The Energy God is packaged with a superhero motif, and its illustrated animated cover and artwork depict him as a hero on an international mission to single-handedly battle and bring back energy and good vibes to the dancehalls.

This energy-packed album includes number one hits such as Dancehall anthem “Nuh Linga,” which spurned a dance craze across the world and rose to international fame when Usain Bolt reenacted it after his victory at the Beijing Olympics. It also features “Dance And Sweep,” “Wine & Dip,” and the current chart-topper “How We Do It” featuring Bounty Killer, which is also featured on Strictly The Best Vol. 43. Other standouts include “Dip Again” featuring Ding Dong, “Clear” featuring Kardinal Offishall, and the digital exclusive and new single, “Life Of The Party” featuring Bounty Killer – all giving credence to Elephant Man’s “Energy God” crown and his seat on the international Dancehall throne.
