Realvibez launches the first Caribbean video Facebook video application

Facebook users can now add video application that features Caribbean videos and a live
chat feature

PEMBROKE PINES – Realvibez.tv, a leading online provider of media for consumers of Caribbean music culture, has launched the first Facebook Caribbean video application.

Facebook applications are widgets that users can add to their personal profiles or fan pages.

Usually, the application benefits from viral promotion when a user adds it.

While other Facebook Caribbean applications have been launched, Realvibez is the first to launch a video application. This new distribution channel will allow fans of various genres of music from the Caribbean to be exposed to video content and provide the ability to broadcast that content to their friends.

“We always do our best to stay on the cutting edge,” said Robert Mullings, Chief Operating
Officer of Realvibez Media, the parent company of Realvibez.tv. “We took our time to launch a Facebook application because there had to be a business model, it couldn’t just be a gimmick or marketing expense.”

The application will be monetized through sponsorship branding and sponsored videos.

Currently Reggae Sumfest 2008 is running a promotional video in the application. “This application is a great way for us to spread the reach of the Realvibez brand,” said David Mullings, CEO of Realvibez Media, “We hope that up-and-coming Caribbean musicians will take advantage of this unique distribution opportunity and that Caribbean companies will jump at the opportunity to participate in a unique advertising channel.”

The application can be found by going to www.realvibez.tv
