OMMF 2nd Annual Charitable Fundraiser Event at Pinecrest Gardens will feature performances by James Malcolm & Stephen Marley, with special guests Cedella Marley and Julian Marley
MIAMI- The Omeriah Malcolm Music Foundation (OMMF) will be hosting their 2nd Annual Charitable Fundraiser event, The Journey on November, 29, 2012 in the Banyan Bowl at Pinecrest Gardens in Pinecrest, Florida.
The Journey will feature grand pianist James Malcolm along with eight time Grammy award winner Stephen Marley backed by a 29-piece orchestra, led by Musical Director and arranger Torsten Schroth of Leipzig, Germany. The evening’s special guest appearances also include performances by Cedella Marley and Julian Marley.
This spectacular, one of a kind event will pay tribute to the music of Bob Marley’s family and James Malcolm’s family, with arrangements throughout the evening which will lead audiences on a musical journey of compositions that were adapted in the West Coast of Africa, Jamaica, Delaware and Miami.
Proceeds of this event will provide music education and musical equipment to underprivileged children in India, Ethiopia, South Florida, and Jamaica.
