MIAMI – North Shore Medical Center, a 357-bed general acute care hospital, proudly unveiled a new Cardiac Monitoring System the hospital recently added to the Emergency Department at an unveiling event held on September 9th.
“The addition of the new cardiac monitoring system allows us to better serve our patients by allowing our physicians and nurses to monitor patients from several locations in the ER,” said Manny Linares, CEO of North Shore Medical Center.
The new Clinical Information System allows users, the devices and technology to easily work together to assimilate real-time and historical patient data from multiple monitoring sources to provide to caregivers enabling for a superior level of care and performance by hospitals. The complete historical data provided in this new system allows for doctors, nurses and hospital staff to review clinical history, assess the patient’s condition and assist in helping make decisions about the next steps in patient care.
