North Miami Mayor to Present “Key To City” to Miami Dade College President

North Miami – Dr. Smith Joseph, Mayor of North Miami will present the Key to the City to  Miami Dade College (MDC) President, Eduardo J. Padrón, Ph.D. on Monday, October 8th 11 a.m.

The event will be open to the community and all are invited.

Joseph will present the Key to Padrón as part of the City of North Miami’s 2018 Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration.  Padron, who is of Cuban descent, has served as MDC’s President since 1995.

Under his leadership, MDC holds the distinction of enrolling and graduating more minorities than any other institution in the United States, including the largest numbers of Hispanics and African-Americans.
