National Jamaican Patty Day Deals at Golden Krust
Golden Krust Marks National Jamaican Patty Day With Buy One, Get One for $1 Patties Nationwide

SUNRISE, Fla – Golden Krust is turning National Jamaican Patty Day into a nationwide celebration. On August 1, the family-owned Caribbean fast-casual restaurant group will offer guests a buy-one, get-one for one dollar patty deal at all participating restaurants across North America.
The one-day in-store promotion will be available at Golden Krust locations nationwide on August 1. Fans can also find the offer on Grubhub, Uber Eats and DoorDash from July 30 through August 2.
Launched by Golden Krust in 2015, National Jamaican Patty Day is observed on the first Saturday in August and was created to spotlight the cultural significance of one of Jamaica’s most recognizable culinary exports.
The date also nods to the brand’s own history: Golden Krust opened its first restaurant in August 1989, the same month Jamaica observes its Independence and Emancipation holidays.
For many consumers, Golden Krust has become synonymous with the Jamaican patty. The company says it sells more than 100,000 patties each day, with varieties spanning Spicy Beef, Mild Beef, Jerk Chicken and Vegetable, along with seasonal specials such as Jamaican Pepper Shrimp.
