NAJASO Partners for Transform through Sustainable Development in Education and Health

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – Key Representatives from NAJASO, The Umbrella Association for all Jamaican Organizations, have begun making their way to Jamaica to promote and stage the 36th annual convention to be hosted by the NAJASO Jamaica team in collaboration with its executive body: Roy Davidson, National President & CEO; Dr Richard Constable M.D., Chairman of the Board; Carol Williams, National Convention Chair, Dr Robert Clarke, Fundraising Chair, Dr Charles Anderson Sr., Health Chair and Dr Joseph Whittaker, PhD, Education Chair.

Roy Davidson, CEO anticipates 150 USA delegates to descend on the island joining the Jamaica Team and conventioneers to participate in its convention to be held July 18-20, 2013 at Secrets Wild Orchids, Montego Bay.

NAJASO’s partnership for transformation has placed a keen focus on the areas of Education, Health, Business and Tourism.

With regards to Education and Health, NAJASO had scheduled the following Community Outreach visits:
Pre-Convention events scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 10:00 am begins with a visit with Dr Doris Channer-Watson, founder and operator of Marathana Learning Center (Basic School), founded in 1999 and located in Lilliput 8 miles outside of Montego Bay. The School is funded by NAJASO, and managed by Board Member, Dr Channer-Watson.

Immediately following will be a visit at 11:30 a.m. to Hurlock Youth Empowerment Center.
At 1:00 pm there will be a courtesy call at Cornwall Regional Hospital hosted by Dr. Delroy Fray, Chief Medical Officer.

NAJASO has arranged a 12-15 Seater Bus which will depart from Secrets Hotel at 9:00 am.
