Montreal Software Company, Irosoft signs contract with Bermuda
MONTREAL – Montreal company Irosoft has just signed a contract with the Government of Bermuda to install its Irosoft LIMS software, an XML system for the drafting, consolidation and publishing of statutes and regulations.
Irosoft is proud to announce the signing of a contract with the Government of Bermuda for the acquisition of Irosoft LIMS (Legislation Information Management System). This will be the first significant international installation for this Montreal company.
“The Government of Bermuda has chosen to install our LIMS system to facilitate access to Bermuda laws by its citizens and the international community. We are very happy to be chosen for this important contract, which is the result of many months of work by our marketing and development teams,” enthused Alain Lavoie, president and cofounder of Irosoft. “This new installation of LIMS will help us in attracting more international clients for LIMS.”
LIMS – A unique and comprehensive system
“What makes our system unique is that it covers all the steps in the legislative process in an integrated fashion,” said Mr. Lavoie.
In fact, Irosoft LIMS is one of the only complete solutions on the market that enables national, provincial / state and municipal governments to manage their laws from drafting to public diffusion, and is the only one that does so in a totally bilingual environment.
Furthermore, Irosoft LIMS enables the searching and reconstructing of laws as of a specified date (“point-in-time”), and can even show provisions that have been enacted but are not yet in force.
LIMS is used by the Departments of Justice of Canada, Quebec and New Brunswick, and by Quebec City. The web publishing part of the system is also used by the Government of The Bahamas.
