Tiffany Willis

MIRAMAR, Fla. — The city of Miramar will launch the fall season of its First Fridays: Network & Chill series Aug. 7, bringing entrepreneurs, small business owners, creatives and emerging professionals together for an evening of networking, business development and leadership insight.

The event, hosted by Mayor Wayne M. Messam and the city’s Economic Development & Housing Department, will take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Chase Bank, 3221 SW 160th Ave. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Headlining the program is Tiffany Willis, a former Starbucks senior vice president of investor relations, Fortune 100 executive and bestselling author of Own Your Narrative. Willis will share strategies for strengthening leadership skills, building a personal brand, navigating career growth and creating opportunity through authentic relationships.

“First Fridays: Network & Chill reflects our commitment to investing in the people who drive Miramar’s economy — our entrepreneurs, professionals, innovators and aspiring business leaders,” Messam said. “The fall season continues that mission by providing access to nationally recognized speakers, valuable networking opportunities and real conversations that inspire growth, collaboration and success. We invite everyone to come out, connect and be part of Miramar’s thriving business community.”

Designed for adults 21 and older, First Fridays: Network & Chill offers a space for attendees to expand professional networks, exchange ideas, discover new opportunities and hear from accomplished industry leaders.
