Miami’s New City Manager Is Sworn In

Miami – Mr. Tony E. Crapp Jr. was officially sworn in this morning (January 3, 2011) as the City Manager for the City of Miami.

Tony E. Crapp Jr. was sworn in by City Clerk, Priscilla A. Thompson and accompanied by his parents at Miami City Hall.

Crapp age 37, will oversee a staff of 4,000-plus,
has spent more than a decade at Miami’s Mayor Tomás Regalado’s side.

Tony is a fourth-generation Miamian, the oldest of four children born to Tony Sr., a lifelong bureaucrat and former Miami-Dade assistant county manager, and Beatrice, a former public employee.
