Miami’s Little Haiti Cultural Center (LHCC) to Feature Global Caribbean II: Caribbean Trilogy art exhibit

Miami – For the second year in a row the Little Haiti Cultural Center (LHCC) will house the renowned ‘Global Caribbean’ art exhibit. Produced by the Haitian Cultural Arts Alliance, the expansive exhibit will open during Art Basel on Friday, December 3rd. It features the works of three preeminent visual artists, José Bedia from Cuba; José García Cordero from the Dominican Republic; and Edouard Duval Carrié from Haiti.

The exhibit will be on display at the state-of-the-art LHCC gallery until January 31, 2011.

Project curator Edouard Duval Carrie said, “For this year, I am presenting this panoply of events that I am sure will enchant all. The first one is me participating with two of my favorite artists from the region; both dear old friends that I have known for at least three decades. It has always been a wish of mine to present Les Grandes Antilles this way.”

Little Haiti Cultural Center is located at 212-260 NE 59th Terrace in Miami.
