Miami Jewish Health Systems Previews Newest center: PACE Miramar

MIRAMAR – The Miami Jewish Health Systems will hosting an exclusive preview of its newest center: PACE Miramar on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at 2814 Corporate Way in Miramar.

PACE (Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Miramar provides a comprehensive program of health and support services for seniors from underserved populations who want to stay independent and at home.

The PACE center features the many resources such as, physical therapy and restorative medicine, that Miami Jewish Health Systems offers to you and the community.

This special evening will also feature a presentation by Marc Agronin, M.D., internationally-recognized clinician, board-certified adult and geriatric psychiatrist and author of eleven books on aging.  Dr. Agronin’s unique method of working therapeutically with older clients is world-renowned.

One of his areas of focus is to teach caregivers and the community at large how to have a positive impact on loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease and other neuro-cognitive disorders by cultivating and environment of empathy and understanding for age-specific challenges. Dr. Agronin will share with you research discoveries from our most recent clinical trials, and ways to delay and prepare for the disease that is impacting so many families.
