Miami Heat individual game tickets go on sale Sept. 28

MIAMI – The Miami HEAT announced today that individual game tickets for all 2010-11 regular season home games will go on sale Tuesday, September 28 at 10:00 a.m. Ticket prices start at $10 per game and can be purchased at HEAT.com, ticketmaster.com, and via 1-800-4NBA-TIX. There will be a four-ticket limit per order per game.

The Ticket Office at the AmericanAirlines Arena will not participate in the ticket on sale on September 28, but tickets may be purchased at the Ticket Office after the on sale date.

In addition, tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster retail outlets starting September 30.

HEAT fans purchasing tickets via Ticketmaster may have their tickets delivered to them via “ticketfast” (similar to printing a boarding pass from your home computer / printer) or they will have the option of a “paperless ticket,” which will require them to show their designated form of identification (credit card, driver’s license, etc.) to the ticket taker as they enter the AmericanAirlines Arena.

This season, the HEAT is utilizing dynamic ticket pricing for individual game tickets, placing a premium on high demand games. While hundreds of $10 tickets will be available for every home game during the regular season, fans will also have the option of selecting games and ticket prices featuring several pricing tiers, all based on the popularity and demand for each individual game.

Ticket prices for the games with the most demand will be higher, while games with less demand will be priced accordingly. While HEAT.com will feature a pricing chart outlining the prices for each game this season, fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early, as prices may change as the actual game date approaches.

Fluctuation in ticket prices are based solely on market conditions.

Fans will have a chance to catch the HEAT Experience live, as the revamped HEAT begins its highly anticipated 2010-11 season. Led by the All-Star trio of Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and LeBron James, this year’s roster features a mix of proven veterans that includes Udonis Haslem, former Sixth Man of the Year Mike Miller, and two-time All-Star Zydrunas Ilgauskas.

The schedule features a host of exciting contests highlighting the NBA’s brightest stars and marquee teams. The home schedule begins when the HEAT takes on Dwight Howard and the intrastate rival Orlando Magic on October 29. The Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics bring their stacked roster to the Magic City on November 11 and April 10. Amar’e Stoudemire and the New York Knicks play guest at the AmericanAirlines Arena on December 28 and February 27.

In addition, the two-time defending NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers, led by Kobe Bryant, visit Miami on March 10 in a much anticipated match up. Fresh off his gold medal in the FIBA World Championship, Kevin Durant leads the Oklahoma City Thunder to their only visit to Miami on March 16.
