MIA celebrates return of Surinam Airways
MIAMI – Officials from the Miami-Dade Aviation Department, Surinam Airways and the Surinamese government will celebrate the return of passenger service by the airline to Miami International Airport after a 16-year hiatus.
Beginning with the arrival of flight #463 on Monday, August 25, at 2:00 p.m., Surinam Airways will provide twice-weekly service between Paramaribo, Suriname, and MIA, with a connecting stop in Aruba.
The Miami route will be the airline’s only flight to the United States.
