FT. LAUDERDALE – The Fort Lauderdale/ Broward NAACP and Co-Sponsors, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Zeta Chi Chapter, Liberal Black Fire Fighters, National Alliance of Postal and Federal Employees (NAPFE), and 100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale will commenorate Juneteenth by celebrating the (5) Black Judges that are currently serving in Broward County, and discuss the lack of diversity on the bench, and reaffirm their commitment to the struggle ahead.
The Fort Lauderdale/Broward NAACP will host “Meet The Black Judges” on Thursday, June 24th at 7pm at the Mizell Center, 1409 Sistrunk Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale.
The event is free and the community is invited to come out and meet the judges.
