Little Haiti Cultural Complex To Honor Women Leaders
Little Haiti Cultural Complex to honor women leaders at an inaugural International Women’s Brunch
MIAMI ̶ Little Haiti Cultural Complex (LHCC), The City of Miami will host an International Women’s Brunch on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the LHCC Courtyard.
In harmony with Women’s History Month, the brunch will pay tribute to modern day women whose vision and commitment have had a positive impact on their community and society at large. At this inaugural event ten female honorees will be recognized with LHCC’s Visionary Award for embodying the multi-cultural spirit of the LHCC and exemplifying the potent combination of raw talent and dedication.
During the chef-curated brunch, accompanied by a mimosa bar and live music, LHCC will also be launching the “Pretty it Forward” initiative. It is an effort to collect gently worn dinner, cocktail, and/ or evening dresses and accessories. All dresses collected will be later featured in the upcoming Chic Mademoiselle Pop Up store.
Guest are not only encouraged to bring in their gently worn garments for donation, but they are welcome back along with the general public for an elegant day of shopping, cocktails, light hors d’oeuvres and music at the Chic Mademoiselle Pop Up store at the LHCC gallery on April 30, 2016. All proceeds collected from the re-sale will go toward funding LHCC programming.
Tickets for the international brunch are $40 in advance. Please RSVP for the brunch by March 18, 2016 at 305-960-2969 or [email protected].
