Little Haiti Cultural Complex Presents “Big Laughs in Little Haiti” Featuring All-Star Comedian Godfrey
Out of this world comedic relief this Father’s Day
MIAMI – The Little Haiti Cultural Complex presents a star-studded comedy show, “Big Laughs in Little Haiti,” featuring comedian Godfrey. The show will take place in the Little Haiti Performing Arts Center (260 NE 59 Terrace Miami, FL 33137) June 21, 2015 from 7-10 p.m.
Hosted by WSVN 7 sports anchor, Donovan Campbell, the show will provide fathers and families comedic relief on this year’s Father’s day. DJ Sam Sneak will be providing the tunes for this eclectic comedy show. Miami natives and Haitian-American comedians Plus Pierre and Success Jr. will be the show’s opening acts for Godfrey.
“Laughter physiologically changes you. It’s healthy for you,” says Godfrey. “I want to make you all healthier during the show.”
Born to Nigerian parents, Godfrey developed a paradoxical sense of humor from his multicultural upbringing. The comedian’s off-the-wall humor has landed him roles in “Zoolander,” “30 Rock” and “Louie”; just to name a few. He has also starred in his own one-hour Comedy Central special “Black By Accident.” Godfrey co-hosts FOX new summer family game show “BullsEye” with the “Twilight” series’ Kellan Lutz every Wednesday at 9 p.m. eastern time. The action-packed game show tests contestants’ ability to defy physical limits by performing stunts on land, sea and air.
“I want you all to be free-thinking and open minded to some highly intelligent, wild and action-packed comedy,” Godfrey says.
