SCARBOROUGH, Tobago Grammy® Award-winning artist Lauryn Hill has just been announced as one of the headliners for the annual Tobago Jazz Experience by The Tobago House of Assembly Division of Tourism and Transportation.

Offering much more than music, the nine-day festival, held this year April 16-24 exemplifies Tobago’s vibrant culture, rich history, diverse gastronomy and friendly locals.

The festival is a celebration of jazz, the indigenous music of Tobago and new music from around the world set along the idyllic beaches of Tobago.

Tobago Jazz Experience is the island’s biggest annual music event, with past performers including John Legend, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott, George Benson, Erykah Badu, Trey Songz, Angie Stone and India Arie. Music enthusiasts from around the world will converge to discover and explore the quaint Caribbean island while enjoying sensational performances. Festival-goers will be treated to an electrifying fusion of home-grown entertainers and international superstars against a breathtaking backdrop of scenic Tobago landscape, which includes cove-filled coastlines, renowned diving sites and bountiful flora and fauna.

Several communities will host multiple events and performances by both regional and international music icons including headlining Grammy® Award-winning artist Lauryn Hill and local Rapso group 3Canal.

Additionally, attendees can expect performances by reggae band Third World and Bajan saxophonist Arturo Tappin along with a number of local and international artists yet to be named.
