Kiwanis Sawgrass-Sunrise and CWMD present The 1st Annual Charity Domino Tournament & Fish Fry

HOLLYWOOD – On Saturday, July 28, a domino tournament and fish fry will be held at “Tavern on the Green” in Hollywood.

The Kiwanis Club of Sawgrass Sunrise partnering with Caribbean Women Making a Difference (CWMD) will host this event and all proceeds will be geared towards charity.

Ruddy Schaaffe, Chairman of the World Championship of Dominoes, will be the chief official for the tournament. Registration begins at 11am at the cost of $25 per person. The tournament will run from 2pm-10pm. There is no admission cost for spectators.

The fish fry will take place throughout the day featuring Caribbean cuisine prepared by Sundays on the Green. Raffles will be held, among other activities, for those persons not participating in the tournament. At 10pm, the party will start with music provided by DJ Inspecta and guest djs.

Prizes include cash, Air Jamaica airline tickets, US-based hotel stays, cruises, gift baskets and more! All proceeds from this event will be given to the charitable efforts of the Kiwanis club of Sawgrass-Sunrise and CWMD’s education scholarships for Caribbean schoolchildren.
