JAMPRO endorses Technology and Innovation forum ‘Tech Beach Retreat’

Kingston, Jamaica – JAMPRO has pledged its support for the technology and innovation forum ‘Tech Beach Retreat’, which will take place on December 1-3, 2016 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Tech Beach Retreat will bring over 25 global speakers and a host of international participants to Jamaica’s shores to present and host discussions with local businesses and promote innovation in the Jamaican economy.

The discussions will be hosted under the theme, “Innovating for Exponential Growth and Impact: Designing your business to manage the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution”.

Presentations will explore new developments in areas like virtual reality and clean technology, and will advise attendees on ideas to disrupt traditional services.

Founder & CEO of The Infiniti Partnership, Kirk-Anthony Hamilton noted that the event would serve as a boost for Brand Jamaica.

JAMPRO President, Diane Edwards said the Agency partnered with the confab due to its potential to boost industry and innovation for the Jamaican economy.

Therefore, JAMPRO will be supporting this event as it provides the space for Jamaicans to network, be exposed to new ideas and reinvigorate their operations in business.”

The conference will bring speakers and registrants from top international enterprises such as Google, The New York Times, Time Magazine, Fast Company, AT&T, The World Bank Group and Microsoft, providing an unprecedented opportunity for networking, relationship building and knowledge sharing.

Jamaican organisations Development Bank of Jamaica, Amber Connect and investment group FirstAngels JA will also be a part of the event sharing ideas, international best practices and helping attendees to cultivate opportunities.

Tech Beach Retreat will be hosted in partnership with DELTA Airlines, Development Bank of Jamaica Ltd. and the United States of America Embassy. JAMPRO is an Agency of the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation.
