Jamaica welcomes Jetblue’s second daily flight from New York’s JFK to Kingston

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica today welcomed JetBlue’s second daily nonstop flight from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Kingston. The increased service is part of the airline’s summer schedule and it reaffirms the value airline’s commitment to Jamaica and the capital city, Kingston.

“We are excited to welcome JetBlue’s second daily flight from New York to Kingston. This additional flight is perfectly timed to welcome our visitors for the summer to experience the island’s vibrant culture and exciting events. We look forward to accommodating guests in Kingston, the island’s cultural and entertainment capital, and showing everyone that Kingston is a happening city,” said Jamaica’s Director of Tourism John Lynch. “Our successful partnership with JetBlue continues to boost Jamaica’s airline capacity, making the destination even more accessible.”

The second daily JetBlue flight departs JFK at 2:00 p.m., arriving in KIN at 5:04 p.m. The return flight departs KIN at 6:00 p.m. and arrives at JFK at 10:56 p.m.

Last year JetBlue Airways launched service from New York (JFK) to Montego Bay (MBJ) and Kingston (KIN), and earlier this year added service from Boston (BOS) and Orlando (MCO) to MBJ. The airline’s launch from JFK to MBJ was its most successful Caribbean launch to date.
