Jamaica Native Anthony Rattigan Joins Hyatt Trinidad Culinary Team

Port of Spain, Trinidad – Hyatt Regency Trinidad has proudly announced the appointment of Anthony Rattigan as Executive Sous Chef.

Ideally located in Trinidad’s capital city of Port of Spain, Hyatt Regency is considered the Caribbean’s leading business hotel.

In his new role, Rattigan will be joining the Hyatt Trinidad culinary team to assist with curating the recently renovated lobby bar and restaurant’s new menu items.

“We are thrilled to have Anthony Rattigan join our diverse culinary team,” said Executive Chef Fernando Franco. “Through his extensive international experience, he is poised to bring fresh ideas and concepts to the table. He brings in-depth knowledge of our brand standards and we are confident that he will complement and enhance our existing talent.”

Rattigan previously served as Head Chef at Hyatt Place Dubai for the past three years. Prior to that, he was the Chef de Cuisine at Grand Hyatt Dubai. Throughout his two decades with Hyatt, Rattigan has experience working with multiple brands, including Hyatt Place, Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency.

Jamaican-born, he has experience in the US, Caribbean and Dubai and is looking forward to returning to the Caribbean.
