KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS)General Manager, Earl Jarrett has given his full support of a new book, “Olympic DNA: The Birth of the Fastest Humans” to author, Dr Rachel Irving.
JNBS sponsored design of the book which explores the link between slavery and sprinting by suggesting that Caribbean and black American athletes are genetically predisposed to record-breaking athletic performances due to gene mutation by slaves in order to survive the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
The book will be available for purchase at the Meet Jamaica activities at Jamaica in Square in Birmingham, England.
