MIAMI – ISLAND LIFESTYLES TELEVISION is set to begin broadcasting on Saturday May 5, 2007 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM via Comcast Cable Systems in the following coverage areas:
North Dade ( channel 19 )
North Broward ( channel 76 )
South Broward ( channel 19 )
ISLAND LIFESTYLES TELEVISION will be available to nearly 450,000 households.
The South Florida Caribbean Community is home to the second largest Jamaican population outside of Jamaica.
The Caribbean Community as a whole represents a significant, untapped consumer market which is underserved and in many cases not served by today’s television broadcast outlets.
To that end, ISLAND LIFESTYLES TELEVISION emerges as the medium to deliver authentic, original and acquired programming to the Caribbean audience.
ISLAND LIFESTYLES TELEVISION’s goal is to tap into that strong sense of culture that binds the Caribbean Community together and as result show the rest of society the depth, variety and vitality of the Caribbean experience.
The host of ISLAND LIFESTYLES TELEVISION will be the multi talented Jamaican, Ouida Crawford.
