Investment Week In Trinidad and Tobago – May 14-19

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Trinidad and Tobago’s Trade and Investment Week is scheduled to take place in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago from May 14th-19th, 2012.

The Caribbean Investment Forum (CIF) 2012 will be held on May 14th – 15th, 2012 in Partnership with the Government of Trinidad and Tobago and the Commonwealth Business Council as a part of Caribbean Investment Week.

The Forum will build on the success of last year’s event that brought together 500 business and government leaders for 2 days of high level discussion and networking which focused on key sectors including, energy, financial services, agribusiness, tourism, maritime industries, manufacturing and creative Industries.

Special Seminars were also held on LNG development, Investment in fine coco, cloud computing, and developing SMEs in the creative industries sector Hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association, the Trade & Investment Convention (TIC) will celebrate its Thirteenth Anniversary from May 16th – 19th, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad, Port of Spain, Trinidad.

TIC is the largest tradeshow of its kind in the Caribbean region, and will bring together hundreds of manufacturers, service providers, buyers and distributors, financial institutions and investors, and regulatory agencies responsible for trade.

One of the largest and most influential business-to-business events in the region, TIC is focused on business networking and trade, and includes a tradeshow, business to business matchmaking, a business education programme and multiple networking events. It has proven very effecting in expanding intra-and extra regional trade, attracting manufacturers, services providers, buyers, distributors, financial institutions and investors.

Since its inception eleven (12) years ago, this show has generated well over US$450 million worth in trade, making TIC a business opportunity that cannot and should not be missed. TIC provides a unique forum for manufacturers, wholesalers, exporters and investors from around the world to meet and conduct business right on the Tradeshow floor.

From TIC over 300 companies from more than 36 countries are expected to exhibit at the four-day Convention that is open to the business community, allowing exhibitors and buyers to focus on business to business transactions.
