REGGAE–NOMICS: A THINK TANK

Advances and changes in the entertainment industry as a whole have opened up new opportunities. But, first we need to define ourselves as an industry. How can we parlay the grassroots popularity of reggae into an economic reality without watering down our spirit and integrity? With vinyl fading fast and CD singles not being cost effective, what will determine a hit single in the future? From the simple to the sublime- this will be an open discussion about where we want to take our industry in the next 5 years.

On-line registration for the conference is available at www.ReggaeConference.org. The registration fees are $50.00 in advance (before Sept. 28, 2006), $75.00 after September 28 and $25 for students. Fees include entry to all official conference events, panels and workshops (Closing Fundraiser Banquet additional).
