SOUTH FLORIDA – The prestigious and newly remodeled Bailey Hall @ Broward College, 3501 Davie Road in Davie/Fort Lauderdale, Florida will be the sponsoring venue for the hosting of reggae and world music’s biggest awards night, the 34th Annual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) on Sunday, October 4th, 2015.

This is the 7th year in its 34-year history that South Florida will play host to this legendary Awards ceremony, the only one of its kind honoring reggae, Caribbean, Haitian and other world music entertainers.

For the last two years, the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, on the outskirts of Fort Lauderdale, served as the venue for the 32nd and 33rd IRAWMA. By the request of the people of South Florida and others journeying from other states and overseas, Bailey Hall, which is less than 15 minutes from the Fort Lauderdale airport and surrounded by several hotels, will be perfect for the star-studded IRAWMA, where celebrities will walk the red carpet, give acceptance speeches and perform.

On Monday, July 20th, 2015 the ballot for experts to nominate the best for 2014/15 in the 34th IRAWMA was closed, and in a few weeks the nominees will be announced for the general public to help in the selection of the winners, and at the same time secure tickets to attend and be a part of the glitz and the glamour at reggae and world music’s most outstanding evening of honors.
