Hundreds of Miami Soccer Fans Celebrate Miami United 2014 Season Kick Off

MIAMI – Miami’s professional soccer team, Miami United FC, introduced the 2014 squad to more than 500 fans at the official season kick-off event at Segafredo Brickell on Thursday, March 27, 2014.

The team is composed of professional soccer players from all over the world brought to Miami by Miami United FC founder and manager, Roberto Sacca.

“We have spent the off-season working hard to bring some of the best soccer players from around to world to the Miami United FC,” said Sacca to a crowd of more than 300 fans and members of the press. “The 2014 season promises to be a winning one for all Miami soccer fans.”

Also recognized at the event was the Miami Hope for Autism United team, whose members have the opportunity to play with elite athletes while improving their social skills and increasing their physical activity.

Special guests in attendance included international model and Italian Style Ambassador, Claudia Romani; Diego Serna, formerly of the Miami Fusion (MLS); famed ADIDAS tennis coach Yuri Bettoni, and leaders of the Southern Legion soccer supporters group.
