Gyptian drops new album

NEW YORK – Reggae sensation Gyptian unveiled his new album to media and fans at his exclusive album launch in Manhattan, on October 21, 2008. This is his second studio effort, entitled I Can Feel Your Pain, on the VP Records imprint, and is packed with 13 romantic and melodic ballads that follow his signature style.

He first entertained media for almost two hours before hitting the stage to debut the new singles for the crowd. The entire night was Egyptian-themed, in lieu of Gyptian’s original alias, “Egyptian.” The program kicked off with an Egyptian belly-dancing showcase, followed by an unplugged performance of his biggest hit yet, “Serious Times,” accompanied by an acoustic guitarist and percussionist.
