Greater Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce (GCACC) and the City of Miramar to host its annual Business Luncheon

MIRAMAR – The Greater Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce (GCACC) and the City of Miramar will host its annual Business Luncheon Meeting on Wednesday May 17th from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at the Miramar Civic Center, 6920 SW 35th Street in Miramar.

The event, which will feature Caribbean and American cuisine and steel band entertainment, is geared towards small and medium-sized businesses, and will have as its featured guest speaker Deputy Fire Chief Joe Cabrera from the Miramar Fire Department discussing the importance of Hurricane Preparedness and the necessary precautions that businesses need to put in place prior to the 2006 hurricane season.

The agenda also includes a discussion on Small Business Initiatives, which will be presented by Gus Zambrano, Economic Development Manager for the City of Miramar.

“This very informative Luncheon Meeting is a great way for business owners and other like-minded citizens to network while learning about the many initiatives and business opportunities that exist within the City of Miramar, and how to prepare for the upcoming hurricane season,” says Lynore Clarke, Public Relations Director for the GCACC.
