The Workshop will be held at the Lauderhill Middle School (1901 NW 49 Ave., Lauderhill), from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Residents attending the event can expect to receive specified information from these various organizations:
- Presentation by NeighborWorks® America
- Foreclosure Counseling by Neighborhood Housing Services
- Various Lenders available to discuss your Loan Options
- Legal Services of Broward County
- NACA (Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America)
On Feb. 26th, NeighborWorks® America announced funding to 32 State Housing Finance Agencies, 16 HUD-approved Housing Counseling Intermediaries and 82 community-based NeighborWorks organization in Florida.
This funding will provide counseling to families and individuals facing the threat of foreclosure. It is estimated that 350,000 to 400,000 families facing the threat of foreclosure will be directly assisted with this funding – and many more will be helped by the training of foreclosure counselors, provided through the National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling program — an initiative funded through the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2008.
The City of Lauderhill and these agencies are working hard. They want to help our residents get answers, advice, counseling, and guidance about their foreclosure needs.
