MIAMI – February is National Children’s Dental month and the team from Miami Takeover (MTO) have partnered with Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. This is the second dental screening that MTO and Colgate have done in the South Florida Community together.
Tooth decay is the number one chronic illness in children and MTO is committed to giving kids the start they need to have a healthy smile and successful future.
“Cultivating good habits and discipline and adhering to regular visits to the dentist will greatly help children get a good start for lifelong well maintained and conditioned teeth and gums”, says Wylie Kynard, MTO Co-Founder. We are grateful for our partnership with Colgate to teach our kids about good dental health”.
MTO is a well organized travel destination, lifestyle brand experience that is held in July, yearly in Miami. Creators, Wylie Kynard (WK&F Group), Chuck Reese, Vince Peden II (VP Productions Travel, LLC) and Antwoine McCoy, graduates from Florida A&M University organically created a platform eight years ago, that included networking, parties and community involvement for urban professionals to participate in.
The MTO Experience defies the perception that African-American young adults do not give back to their communities. Not only does the group do so in their perspective home cities but they have also created an opportunity for other like-minded professionals to participate in community initiatives while on vacation.
