Free Citizenship Clinic and DACA/DAPA info session in Homestead

MIAMI– This Saturday, February 21st the New Americans Campaign will host a special Citizenship Day in Homestead to provide legal assistance, study materials and information to Floridians applying for US citizenship.  The event will be held at the South Dade High School, Auditorium 28401 SW 167th Ave, Homestead, FL 33030

Participants at the event will also have an opportunity to attend an informational session on President Obama’s administrative relief programs: Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals – Expanded (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parental Accountability (DAPA), which will take place at 11am and 1pm.

This event will be co-hosted by Florida New Americans, Catholic Legal Services of Miami, The International Rescue Committee, FIU Law School –  Immigration Clinic, Read 2 Succeed, Hispanic Unity of Broward, CIMA, New American Workforce, the Knight Foundation, Miami Dade County Public Schools, Haitian  Lawyers Association, and Cuban American Bar Association.
