BOCA RATON – The Florida Caribbean Students Association (FCSA) is scheduled to host its 38th Conference at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) on March 23 through March 25, 2012 in Boca Raton, Florida, under the theme, “Past, Present & Future: The Road We Travel”.
The FCSA Conference is the leading annual Caribbean student event in Florida at which a wide cross section of Caribbean countries is represented. The Conference is expected to welcome over 600 participants including student and community leaders, business representatives, FAU campus administration, and local officials.
The 2012 Conference will offer a variety of networking opportunities and address the goal of this annual conference. In addition, the Conference will provide character building and personal development skills for the participating students.
This annual Conference has largely impacted the lives of thousands of college students across the state of Florida. Danika Russell, President, Florida Caribbean Student Association and junior at the University of Central Florida stated “I have seen both sides of conference as an attendee and as a member of the FCSA executive board and it always amazes me the magnitude of importance conference means to our members, it is able to bring together so many young Caribbean leaders in one place and develop future business connections and friendships that will last a lifetime.”
