From June 13 through July 6, Bayfront Park served as the region’s World Cup hub, drawing fans from South Florida and around the globe for more than 70 match broadcasts, major musical performances, local showcases, food and beverage offerings, family programming and immersive sponsor and community experiences.
“The FIFA Fan Festival™ Miami represents exactly what we set out to achieve when we began preparing for the FIFA World Cup 2026™,” said Rodney Barreto, Co-Chair of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Miami Host Committee.
“We wanted to create an experience that reflected the very best of our community while showcasing Miami on a global stage. Over 24 days, more than 600,000 people experienced our city’s energy, diversity, hospitality and passion for the world’s game. That achievement belongs to every public agency, private partner, sponsor, volunteer and team member who came together to make this possible. Together, we’ve demonstrated that Miami is not only ready to host the world — we know how to deliver world-class experiences that leave a lasting impact on our community and our economy.”

The 24-day run also underscored the event’s broader regional impact. Beyond Bayfront Park, the FIFA Fan Festival™ Miami helped drive activity for hotels, restaurants, transportation providers, attractions, and local businesses. In addition, it spotlighted the cultural mix that has made Miami a global sports and entertainment capital.
“What made the FIFA Fan Festival™ Miami so extraordinary wasn’t simply the attendance — it was the atmosphere,” said Alina T. Hudak, President & CEO of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Miami Host Committee.
“Every day, Bayfront Park became a place where people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds came together to celebrate the world’s game with joy, respect and an incredible sense of community. Delivering an event of this scale required extraordinary collaboration between FIFA, our public and private partners, first responders, staff, volunteers and hundreds of professionals working behind the scenes. Watching that collaboration come to life — and seeing more than 600,000 fans create memories together — is something I’ll never forget.”
The turnout reinforced Miami’s position as a premier destination for international sporting events and large-scale cultural gatherings, while offering a preview of the region’s capacity to welcome global audiences, activate public spaces and turn major sports moments into community-wide celebrations.
The Celebration Continues Across South Florida

With the FIFA Fan Festival™ Miami now concluded, the spotlight shifts to the Miami Host Committee’s Official Watch Parties, which are carrying the tournament atmosphere into neighborhoods across Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Hosted in partnership with local municipalities and community partners, the free gatherings are designed to give families and fans across South Florida a shared place to experience the final stretch of the FIFA World Cup™.
“From the very beginning, the FIFA Fan Festival™ was envisioned as the centerpiece of a much broader regional celebration,” Barreto added.
“As the tournament continues, we’re expanding that celebration into communities across South Florida because we believe the FIFA World Cup belongs to the entire region. These Official Watch Parties allow even more families and fans to experience the excitement of the world’s biggest sporting event together.”
