“Fab 5” for South Florida Street Dance

Pembroke Pines – “Road Block” will be the feature event for the 2nd Annual “4th of July” Independence celebration which returns on Saturday July 3rd, 2010, starting at 9 pm.

“Road Block” will be in the form of an original ol’-time Jamaican style Independence Street Dance which will take place in the “Parking Lot Village” of Supreme Marine, at 2981 Ravenswood Rd., Ft. Lauderdale, 33312.

“Road Block” will be a night time street party, dancing to the music of “Fab 5”, Jamaica’s #1 dance band, along with South Florida’s party disk jockeys, DJ Mark Swaby, and the Medusa DJ’s.

This event will not be a concert; this event will not be a banquet. “Road Block” will be a non-stop, night-time dancing party, held outdoors in a parking lot, come rain or moon-shine. Along with the continuous dancing, there will be authentic Jamaican style food and Jamaican drink favorites, such as Jamaican rum punch, available for purchase.

“Road Block” is hosted and produced by the Kiwanis Club of Sawgrass-Sunrise, in collaboration with RMG Entertainment and Trilogy Productions Ltd.

With a very well received event in 2009, the 2010 celebration promises to be a bigger and even more exciting event, with part proceeds going to charity.

Sponsors and supporters are invited to be a part of this celebration to take advantage of the extensive exposure that will be associated with the hosting of the event.
