Five Jamaican Americans were cast in the official Michael Jackson Biopic: “Hold Me”

The film is a featured documentary about Jackson as an entertainer, husband, father, and pop icon navigating his solo career since 1972.

The Jamaican Americans are Errol Mesquita, Alrick Mesquita, Andrea Mesquita, Lloyd Chin and Ann Marie Mesquita, who married Michael on June 25, 1984 in Jamaica.

The Biopic will also detail the King of Pop’s life with his wife, who was born in Jamaica of Mohegan and Liberian descent: Ann Marie Mesquita or Annie Jackson. Annie is a U.S. History professor and journalist.

Annie and her husband, Michael, is also the writers, producers, and narrators of the Paramount Pictures backed Biopic,  a feature-length documentary that has reenactments to detail several scenes of Michael Jackson’s visits to Jamaica and his marriage life at the Neverland Valley Ranch in California.

Actors, dancers, and models interested in being background actors in the reenactments must apply with headshots and resumes sent to [email protected] by September 20, 2022.
