ATLANTA – British Virgin Islands breakout sensation ELVIS WHITE, released their explosive Caribbean/UK hit single, “Sexy Waist”, available exclusively through iTunes.
“Sexy Waist”, ELVIS WHITE’S international hit single, was recently added at TEMPO, MTV’s Caribbean Network, and is currently blowing up in the Caribbean, UK and Canada, holding fast to the #3 spot at Canada’s hottest site, Toronto- Lime.com!
The “Sexy Waist” video was shot on location at the Trinidad Carnival earlier this year by director, J. Jesses. It features the colorful imagery of Carnival, including the elaborate costumed masqueraders, scenes from the legendary Trinidad Road March and the most sought after vision in the Caribbean, the Goddesses of Carnival.
The video also features cameo appearances from legendary music icon Peter Gabriel, and ELVIS WHITE’s BVI neighbor, close friend, and #1 fan, Virgin Empire founder, Sir Richard Branson.

ELVIS WHITE, named after the group’s founder Elvis, consists of front members Elvis; Toro “The Bull”; Shekera “The First Lady”; and Gregory Hogan, the group’s musical director.
ELVIS WHITE has been hard at work striving to secure spots on both the American and European charts. The group performed globally at the close of last year, on tour in Europe, opening for The Fugees; in February 2006 at the Trinidad Carnival; in June for the NBA Finals in Miami; in July for the Major League Baseball All-Star FanFest in Pittsburgh; again for the NBA in NYC at the Rhythm N’ Rims concert held at the South Street Seaport; and in late August they are confirmed to perform for the American Red Cross at the 2nd Annual Red Hot Red Cross fundraiser in Southampton, NY.
With added performance dates being confirmed daily, both domestically and internationally, ELVIS WHITE is on a mission to bring their Pop/Reggae SOCA-inspired Caribbean sound to the doorsteps of everyone from Europe to America.
