BASSETERRE, St.Kitts – Digicel is continuing to show support for the local arts and culture by becoming a major sponsor of the Miss Personality and Marvelous Queen and Ring Bang Calypso Show which is being organized by the Young and Energized Core.
The Miss Personality and Marvelous Queen show is an updated version of the traditional Miss PAM show which has been around since the 1980’s.
The show which traditionally was essentially a Queen pageant has now been expanded to include a calypso show segment known as the Ring Bang Calypso Competition.
The combination of both a Queen and Calypso show has been very well received and has resulted in the show being recognized as one of the major events on the St.Kitts –Nevis cultural and entertainment calendar.

The popular show, which last year attracted a hugely massive supportive and enthusiastic crowd, is scheduled for Saturday, April 28, at the PAM Headquarters on Lockhart Street.
According to Mr. Wilkin, the queen show contestants will make five appearances: personality speech, talent competition, creative wear (power of the paper), evening wear and interview.
The Ring BANG Calypso Competition will see Queen Anastasia defending her crown against 10 of the islands top calypsonians in a one song one round event. The songs for this years show will all be brand new and will all be heard for the first time on the night of the competition.
